BestStart Faringdon caters for children aged from 3 months to 6. We have the latest education and play resources to support all ages and developmental levels.

Our philosophy is to create a fun learning environment where our tamariki and whānau feel welcome and secure. Our neighbourhood is very important to us and is an integral part of our curriculum, supporting the children to find out more about the world around them.

Whanau engagement is very important to us. We value what parents have to offer us to best support their tamariki learning.

We have a natural feel to our outdoor environment which offers lots of areas for children to explore and develop at their own pace. Equipment caters for the ages and stages of the children using the play space.

Nursery - In our nursery we foster nurturing, respectful relationships with our tamariki through responsive and primary caregiving. We offer a calm and peaceful area for our younger Pepe. We ensure that we communicate daily with all whanau, ensuring that they are kept up to date with their child’s daily adventures.

Toddler Room – In our toddler room we foster on supporting tamariki language, through engaging interactions with teachers and alongside their peers. Further relationship building to ensure your tamariki have a sense of belonging in the classroom.

Preschool – In our preschool we foster, building relationships/friendships between our tamariki through empowerment and developing independence.  We focus on helping support children to become confident and competent learners through communicating their needs.

Prep Room- Our experienced teaching team focus on having fun, while the same time supporting children and their families as they begin the transition to school. We offer lunch box day in the Prep Room to support the tamariki transition to school.
