Adelong Preschool provides a learning environment which encourages the maximum use of  all of the senses to develop abilities skills and attributes conducive to further learning.

Adelong Preschool aims to provide an environment which allows each child to develop and enhance self expression and effective communication as well as developing positive attitudes towards themselves and others.

All staff are fully trained and qualified in Early Childhood Education and they undergo regular training updates.
Parents, carers and the community are involved in the decision making process of our preschool and are invited to be part of the management committee.

Parent participation has long been a feature of our preschool. Parents are encouraged to become involved in the program to the level that  they feel comfortable, working in partnership with the staff and children to enhance our daily program.

Adelong Pre School Inc

Carcoola is a long day care centre which provides education and care for children aged six weeks to school aged. At Carcoola we have a baby (Green room) toddler (Gumnut room) and preschool (Eurabbie room). Some educational programs which the children participate in are orientation to school, bush school and Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA).

Also during school terms, Carcoola offers before school education and care.

Carcoola Children’s Centre is community focused and the children participate in a variety of community based activities such as: visiting the elderly at the hospital and Pinnaroo, exploring the community, participating in the community reading day, ANZAC day and Remembrance Day services as well as often visiting the local Library facilities.

Every child at the centre is served nutritious meals and snacks which are prepared at the centre from qualified cooks. The centre runs to the munch and move guidelines and a five week rotating menu is audited regularly.
