Brookvale
Brookvale 2100 is a New South Wales suburb situated in northern Sydney. The suburb lies within the Northern Beaches region, approximately 16km north-east of Sydney’s central business district.
Brookvale’s history dates back to 1836 with the sale of a large area of farmland. In 1961, the Hooker Investment Corporation purchased the historic Brookvale House, leading to the development of the area’s largest shopping complex, Warringah Mall.
Today, Brookvale is a major industrial area with a rapidly growing business community. The Westfield Warringah Mall is an extensive indoor-outdoor shopping complex serving the suburb’s 3,100+ residents. The area is safe, tranquil, and popular with young families, with cafes, restaurants, and beaches all nearby.
Active families will enjoy living in Brookvale, with plenty of sporting opportunities and outdoor activities on offer. Rugby is especially popular in the region, with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles NRL team calling Brookvale Oval home.
There are approximately 117 childcare services within 6km of Brookvale’s town centre. Early learning centres in the area offer centre-based care, long daycare, family daycare, occasional care, and out of school hours care.
Families with young children will enjoy the convenience offered by its childcare centres, with in-house meals, nappies, transport, incursions, excursions, and education programs included within many centres’ daily fees.
