Dubbo 2830 is located in the heart of Macquarie Valley in New South Wales, right on the beautiful Macquarie River. It has a population of around 38,000 people and is located around 400 kilometres north-west of Sydney in outback NSW.
Dubbo is home to some amazing sights, including the ever-popular Taronga Western Plains Zoo where you can visit hundreds of rare and endangered animals, such as lions and rhinos. The Old Dubbo Jail is an interesting part of Australia’s history and has the largest collection of hangman’s knots in Australia, while the Dubbo Heritage Walk and Terramungamine Reserve provide insight into the history of this region.
