East Albury
East Albury is an extension of border town Albury, where residents can enjoy the Mugabareeen Reserve and Wodonga Regional Park in their leisure hours. The Woodlands Child care centre, Kidscape and Yarrunga Early Learning Centre offer daycare are all available for families in the region.
Food and Activities
Children are supplied with activity toys, interactive play and imaginative spaces that engage them in play based learning. Social interaction is an important part of children’s development and the East Albury child care centres ensure that each child finds a sense of self along their learning journey.
Outdoor activities include sandpits, wilderness and vegetable gardens that the children help to cultivate, and use in their daily meals. All meals are guided by nutrition and healthy qualities, with water as the only drink for all children. Many centres have a chef on the grounds to prepare tasty and wholesome meals to ensure the children have energy for the day.
Education
A robust curriculum and team of well qualified educators ensure children reach their milestones and individual goals in the essential learning areas. Maths, literature, music, movement, art and science are all prime parts of the programme, introduced through entertaining activities that the children love to engage in.
