Khancoban preschool provides an early childhood education program in accordance with The Early Years Learning Framework providing play-based early childhood education for children aged 3 to 5 years with the flexibility of providing casual positions to 2-year old’s.

Carcoola is a long day care centre which provides education and care for children aged six weeks to school aged. At Carcoola we have a baby (Green room) toddler (Gumnut room) and preschool (Eurabbie room). Some educational programs which the children participate in are orientation to school, bush school and Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA).

Also during school terms, Carcoola offers before school education and care.

Carcoola Children’s Centre is community focused and the children participate in a variety of community based activities such as: visiting the elderly at the hospital and Pinnaroo, exploring the community, participating in the community reading day, ANZAC day and Remembrance Day services as well as often visiting the local Library facilities.

Every child at the centre is served nutritious meals and snacks which are prepared at the centre from qualified cooks. The centre runs to the munch and move guidelines and a five week rotating menu is audited regularly.

Gidgillys Early Education and Care Centre along with Jindabyne Preschool was established in 2006. Gidgillys is a privately owned licensed long day care centre and preschool offering high quality education and care services along with well balanced, nutritional meals.

Our qualified, loving and dedicated educators provide young children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in learning. We provide educational programs for infants (0 - 2 years) in our Ladybugs classroom, toddlers (2 - 3 years) in our Gigglebugs classroom, pre-preschool (3 - 4 years) in our Starbugs classroom and the year before school (4 - 5 years) in our Jindabyne Preschool environment. Gidgillys also provides two outdoor play environments that play a large part in the children's education.

We offer diverse recreational programs designed to extend and enrich the well being of school age children in line with “My Time, Our Place”. Our OSHC service (Out of School Hours Care) aims to provide a home-like atmosphere within a caring and stimulating environment with highly trained and experienced staff.

At our centre we recognise that we are part of a wider community. A community that helps children to thrive in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. Our expansion into Out of School Hours Care and the partnership with Jindabyne Central School reflects our commitment to the community and we hope that this service benefits you and your children. We lease the primary school hall from the school on a daily basis and we have access to the room before and after school and during the school holidays.
