Childcare in Kogarah NSW
Kogarah is an historical town, dating to the early days of Europeans arriving in Australia. Many heritage listed buildings remain giving the suburb a unique character and a taste of past times. It is now a mixture of residential, commercial and light industrial and also home to two major hospitals.
Food and Entertainment
The popular town centre includes Kogarah’s largest shopping centre which includes a tavern, supermarkets, department stores and many speciality stores. Dog owners have the choice of two dog parks in the north of the suburb. Top quality cafes and restaurants provide plenty of choice for a night out. Kogarah also offers a Novotel and other accommodation for travellers, handy to Sydney Airport.
Education
Kogarah has a large number of schools at all levels, with an equally large number of child care evenly spread throughout the suburb, providing a welcoming and warm place for children to spend their day. Local parents are asked to communicate on a regular basis with their children’s carers to ensure programmes are child centred. Programmes are child based, using individual interests and strengths to motivate children to learn and grow. Activities are both educator and child directed, to allow the opportunity for creativity and curriculum based learning.
