Bargo Child Care Centre is a long daycare centre located on Hawthorne Road in Bargo. It is a small centre with space for 20 children aged from 2 years through to pre-school age.

Bargo Child Care Centre aims to provide high quality early childhood education to children in our care through a diverse range of play-based learning activities.

Being a small centre means we can tailor our services to each child's individual developmental needs, allowing for versatility that helps children reach their potential. We include open-ended and deliberate play-based learning activities, as well as activities that help children to develop communication and language skills, as well as social and emotional growth. 

Our education is based on the Early Years Learning Framework which gives children a good sense of self-awareness, the ability to feel connected and contribute to their environment, to become self-assured and good communicators.

Nutritional Policy

At Bargo Child Care Centre, we believe children need to eat well to learn better. We provide healthy and nutritious meals to children throughout the centre, as well as snacks, fruit and water throughout the day. 

Grounds

We promote play in the outdoors at our centre and offer a large natural, outdoor play space for children to enjoy. It includes equipment to suit all age groups attending the centre and helps to promote social skills, gross motor skills and a general love of the environment and learning.

Step Ahead Kids Early Learning Centre is an early learning facility located in Thirlmere, New South Wales. The centre provides long daycare services for a maximum of 72 children at one time, aged from zero to six years.

At Step Ahead, we also offer out of school hours care - vacation care services. As of September 2020, our centre meets all criteria set out in the Australian Government’s National Quality Standards. This result means we perform at a high standard in all aspects of our education and care.

Grounds

Along with nutrition, regular outdoor plays a vital role in every child’s development. Our grounds feature a large yard area, open spaces, and a stimulating playground for children to enjoy.

Communication

At Step Ahead Kids, we recognise the utmost importance of maintaining communication with families. We provide regular updates about how children have spent their day, along with observations and notes about their experiences.
