Sunny Kids Bega is a long daycare offering pre-school care to all families.  The centre provides high quality care with a child centred curriculum and passionate educators to support children’s development and needs. Located close to Bega Primary school for convenience, Sunny Kids Bega provides a welcoming environment for all families in the area and a nurturing place for children to grow. All preschool ages are catered for. 

Services

The centre offers wonderful benefits and inclusions for all children.  Nutritious meals are cooked fresh daily in a state of the art kitchen and nappies, wipes and sunscreen are provided.
Highly qualified educators offer exceptional care and engage with children to provide both nurture and learning opportunities. The curriculum is responsive and supports the development of children at an individual level. Plenty of hands-on resources and activities are encouraged so children can develop vital motor skills. 
At Sunny Kids cultural experiences are important and significant days are celebrated.

Nutrition policy

All meals are provided daily, cooked fresh on the premises.  Sunny Kids Bega ensures a nutritious menu based around healthy eating guidelines.  Meals are eaten in a relaxed and social setting. Parents are encouraged to share their child’s favourite recipes. 

Grounds

Children play in beautifully designed grounds that include a mud pit, construction area, dinosaur table, sandpit and playground.  A yoga/relaxation space is available for quiet time and a place to think. Sunny Kids also has a garden for growing vegetables including carrots, spring onions, capsicum and lettuce, which the children contribute to. 

Communication

Online tools are used to keep an ongoing, real-time record of each child’s day and their learning journey.  This helps provide a link between parents and the centre and helps children in their daily transition. Parents can tune in to the daily workings at Sunny Kids with regular updates, tips and activities that are helpful to parents.

Bub’s Early Learning Centre is a centre-based early learning facility located in Bega, New South Wales. Bub’s provides quality care and education for 36 children at one time.

Located on a dedicated acreage just off Bega’s main bypass, our gorgeous town’s lush, leafy atmosphere is reflected in our centre’s design. In every aspect of our teaching, we emphasise sustainability, respect for nature, and physical play.

Our service includes a fully developed curriculum, on-site meals, and regular cultural and community-based activities.

Bub’s offers a warm and welcoming long daycare service, allowing children to live out their early years in peace and comfort. Our small centre allows our talented educators to provide quality, one-on-one care for each child, recognising each individual for their unique talents. We keep in touch with parents regularly with updates, information, and observations about each child’s progress. We also invite families to contact us via our social media pages with questions, ideas, or to arrange an in-person meeting with their child’s educator.

The Little Yuin Aboriginal Preschool is based at Wallaga Lake and has been successfully operating for 20 years and run by a volunteer Aboriginal management committee. Merrimans Local Aboriginal Land Council is the land owner.

Bermagui Preschool has been operating since October 1976.  We are a Non-Profit Government/Community based Preschool catering for up to 40 children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years. Bermagui Preschool has been rated 'exceeding' in all areas of the National Quality Standards.

Since 2016, our service also offers Long Day Care, Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care.

Tathra Children's Services Inc

In 2014 Bega Preschool was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority and received a result of “Exceeding” in the National Standards in Early Childhood Education.

Bega Preschool offers two classrooms with a maximum of 20 children enrolled in each class. The classes are taught by University Degree trained Early Childhood Teachers, all other educators hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or Certificate 111 in Children’s Services. We believe in the importance of relationships, between children, educators, families and the wider community and that they are built on trust, mutual respect and understanding. 

We believe that feeling a sense of belonging is crucial for everyone and by forming strong bonds with children and families we create this sense of belonging. It is with this belief in mind that children are enrolled in a one, two or three day program with the same teacher and class on consecutive days. This enables relationships to develop and provides opportunities to support children to engage in meaningful learning relationships.
