Peter Pan Preschool Kindergarten provides preschool kindergarten education to children aged from 3 years to 6 years.

Services

At Peter Pan Preschool Kindergarten, we offer an educational curriculum that helps children develop life skills and prepares them for school. We provide programmes that reflect our commitment to meeting each child's unique care and educational requirements in a nurturing, supportive, and inspiring environment.

Our programs are based on the interests and ideas of the children, our families and through our knowledge of child development. We ensure every child has the opportunity to be creative, exploratory, cooperative, focused, inspired, challenged, confident, thoughtful, persistent, encouraged, and happy.

We base our education on the National Quality Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework, child observations, and community events, to ensure your child is getting everything they need for a successful future.

We create play-based programs that incorporate a balance of child-directed and adult-directed experiences, as well as plenty of opportunities for spontaneous and creative play.

Nutritional Policy

At Peter Pan Preschool Kindergarten, we follow the NSW Government and Hunter New England Health's "Good for kids, good for life" guidelines. We believe it is our responsibility, in collaboration with parents, to teach students to make healthy choices that result in a healthy life. You are required to pack food for your child and parents are asked to sign an agreement on enrolment to send healthy choices.

Grounds

Peter Pan Preschool Kindergarten provides programs that cater to each child's unique care and educational requirements. We have a fun and interesting outdoor area for children to learn and play, including a playground, a garden, a sandpit, and open space.

Communication

Our educators monitor and document each child's unique educational journey and you’re welcome to see this portfolio at any time. We encourage parents to speak with staff members at any time, or to make an appointment with a staff member to discuss specific difficulties or concerns. We have a regular newsletter keeping you informed about the centre, and a Facebook page you can follow with photos, reminders and other information. Notices for events and so on are regularly updated on our veranda noticeboard.

Janelle Street Centre provides early learning and long day care to children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years.

Services

Janelle Street Centre is a Tamworth Baptist Church ministry, so our education is centred on Jesus Christ. We provide Christian, caring, creative, and educational early childhood care and learning, within a secure, modern building.

We follow and support mainstream Christian ideas and beliefs, and we embrace the diversity of our children's cultures. We also recognise the importance of family and individual values.

We provide age-appropriate programs based on the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework. We offer a structured but flexible Pre-School curriculum as well as a School Readiness program to help older children prepare for school.

There are four age and developmentally appropriate rooms. The transition between rooms is handled on an individual basis, with the child's family, the Room Leader, and the Centre Director all working together to ensure that the child has the best possible experience.

Our nursery provides a nurturing environment for birth to two years; toddler supports 2–3-year-olds to develop independence and social skills; preschool continues to build on these basic skills; and our School Readiness program assists children to develop the skills needed to be ready for school.

We have four trained Early Childhood Teachers who are supported by outstanding Educators with a Diploma or Certificate III.

Nutritional Policy

Janelle Street Centre doesn’t provide food for children, however there are cooking activities across the centre for fun. Children bring their own breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. We are not a nut-free facility and try to accommodate children with allergies in these experiences. We celebrate birthdays, and you are invited to send in treats for your children. 

Grounds

Our outdoor space is divided into age groups, giving youngsters the ability to explore within their respective developmental zones.

Communication

Upon enrolment, you will receive a welcome bag including your child's communication book. Educators will write in this book about how your child's day went when he or she visits the centre. This will also feature images of your child having fun while playing at the centre.

Goodstart Tamworth South is at the forefront of early childhood care and education in the area. Situated near transport routes, roads, schools and local shops, our learning facility has become a crucial part of the suburban community since 2005.

We consist of professional educators who possess a license in early childhood-related studies. The staff in our learning centre - most of which have been with us for a very long time - shows an unmatched dedication to their profession and to the Goodstart mission.

Grounds
Our early childhood learning centre can accommodate kids between six weeks and five years old. We have five rooms that comprise two for Nursery, two for Preschool, and one for the Toddler group. With the support of the Early Years Learning Framework, we offer a stimulating play-based curriculum for a happier, more meaningful early learning experience.

We also have a spacious interactive playground outside for children to tinker. Vegetation gardens and sandpits, among other things, teach kids the significance of taking care of Mother Earth and promoting environmental sustainability.

Nutritional Policy
Our full-time kitchen staff offers a nutritionally balanced 4-week rotating menu, a snack, and morning and afternoon tea. We also take note of the kids’ dietary requirements including food allergies and restrictions.

Communication
Regular parent-teacher communication is paramount to us. That's why we provide periodic updates including learning milestones to families, so they can keep track of their young one's growth and development under our tutelage.

Keeping in touch with parents and listening to their needs also allow us to customise our programs to better suit each child’s unique needs.
