Goodstart Glendale Childcare centre offers quality childcare for all families. Situated in a quiet and secure residential area, we are a convenient and welcoming home away from home for your children.  We offer places for children aged six weeks to five years with six bright airy rooms and two nature-based playgrounds. 

Services
Daily programmes are created following the Early Years Learning Framework, taking into consideration the children’s culture, strengths and talents and individual interests. The programme runs on a flexible routine with environments designed to engage the children at their own developmental level. Challenges and varieties in learning occur throughout the day with programmes such as Bush Kindy where the children move outdoors for activities.

The curriculum includes opportunities for art, music, movement, construction and craft, as well as activities that introduce literacy, numeracy, and simple scientific concepts. All learning experiences are designed to be meaningful, impactful, and memorable. 

Strong reciprocal relationships with families and the community are key to our caring, nurturing centre.  Goodstart Glendale is part of a social inclusion program Echo (Enhancing Children’s Outcomes) which provides onsite access to a child and family practitioner, occupational therapist and speech therapist who work alongside our educators to improve children’s social and learning outcomes.

Grounds 
The cleverly designed and landscaped grounds at Goodstart Glendale are a happy place for children, where they can run, climb, ride, explore and challenge themselves physically. The outdoor spaces also include gardens for herbs and vegetables, allowing children to keep in touch with food sources and nature. All rooms are strategically organised allowing children to develop a full range of important skills as they move between stations. 

Nutrition Policy
Children receive well balanced, nutritional and tasty meals from our in-house chef, with menus planned especially for growing bodies. Children with special diets or food allergies will receive appropriate meals as a part of our all-inclusive service.

Communication
Parents receive email newsletters on a regular basis, keeping them informed and updated on centre news. We have an open-door policy that allows parents to communicate freely– face to face whenever they wish to.  We work alongside parents to provide the best care for all children at Goodstart Glendale.

Glendale Early Education Centre Inc is a community-based centre, offering long day care for children 6 weeks to school age.  Experienced Educators provide quality learning opportunities and high level needs’ based care for all children.  Programmes are designed to enhance the sense of being, belonging and becoming in each child. 

Services

Staff at Glendale Early Education Centre create a home like environment that also attends to the children’s educational needs.  Programmes are designed around the children’s individual strengths, interests and needs, and incorporate the Curriculum Framework into planning.  Parent participation and input is valued in all activities.

The curriculum provides fun, learning and friendship with developmentally appropriate educational activities that children can access.  
The 0-2 age group receive primary care, which is shared with parents.  Family groupings are available up to 3 years of age and enjoy a variety of activities suitable for each age.  

The Centre has 3 individual playrooms to cater for Early Learners (Caterpillar room – 0 – 2 years), Transitional Learners (Grasshopper room – 2 – 3 ½ years) and Pre School (Busy Bee room – 3 – 6 years) which ensures the best learning environment for each level.  

Grounds

The beautifully designed rooms are adjoined by a large outdoor area that offers separate play areas for younger and older children.  The play areas allow plenty of opportunity for children to use their imagination, climb, run and learn new skills.  The grounds include soft fall play areas, grassed areas and sandpits. 

Nutrition Policy

The Glendale Early Education Centre menu includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea and are carefully planned in full consultation with experts.  Ingredients are all fresh and healthy, with the five food groups represented.  Special dietary requirements are catered for. 
Milk and water, provided by the centre, is available to all children throughout the day.  

Communication 

Each child is allocated to a staff member who will be responsible for their sense of being, belonging and becoming throughout their time at Glendale Early Education Centre.  Observations are recorded of child, including interests.  A daily slideshow is available for parents, and feedback and participation in programme design is encouraged.

We operate 8:30am-4:00pm Monday -Friday during school terms.

We are a 20-place setting with a ratio of 1 educator to 5 children.

At Fair Play OOSH, we specialise only in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC). All our OSHC services provide an environment for children that is engaging, caring, fun and friendly. Our services can be used in many ways by all families with primary-school-aged children. Some of our families are regulars, and utilise our services every day because of work commitments. Other families might need to use our service ‘once in a while’, such as when there’s an appointment they just can’t fit in during school time or in emergency situations.

Edgeworth Child Care Centre is an early learning centre located in Edgeworth, New South Wales. The centre offers centre-based, long daycare services for a maximum of 39 children at one time.

At Edgeworth, we cater to all children aged from zero to five years, fifty weeks of the year. As of September 2016, our centre meets or exceeds all aspects of the Australian Government’s National Quality Standards, achieving an overall rating of ‘Exceeding NQS’. This rating means our centre sits well above the standard of early childhood education and care.

We are a not-for-profit, community-based centre with a long-standing reputation in the Edgeworth area. A committee comprising active community members and parents manage our centre, and all finances go back into families, our facilities, and the children.

Services

To ensure age-appropriate education, we divide our care into two groups:

●	Early Learners Room (0-3 years)
●	Preschool Room (3-5 years)

In our Early Learners Room, we care for children aged from eight weeks to three years, including five places for 0-2-year-olds and 10 places for 2-3-year-olds. Our active, interest-based program encourages children to develop their individual strengths and express their unique needs.

In our Preschool room, we care for up to 24 children per day. Our extensive School Readiness Program prepares children for the challenges they’ll face as they progress through their learning journey, offering them a solid foundation of knowledge, confidence, and curiosity.

We see children as capable individuals with unique talents, ideas, interests, and skills. Our talented, experienced educators respect and appreciate this uniqueness, motivating children to become involved participants in their own learning.

Grounds

Outdoor play plays an essential role in our curriculum. In our spacious outside areas, such as our garden, sandpit, playground, and unstructured spaces, children can test their motor skills, spend time with friends, and simply enjoy spending time in nature.

As a community-based centre, we recognise the importance of collaboration and communication. At any time, we encourage families to get in touch with our centre by phone or via our website. We also invite parents and caregivers to visit our centre to meet us in person.
