Possums Community Preschool is a non-profit, community-operated preschool. We opened in 1986 and have been educating and caring for children from across the Tweed Shire for the past 28 years.

The service is managed by the parents of the children attending, and by community members who are committed to the quality of our children’s education and care.

We encourage parents to be as involved as possible in the operation of the preschool and in the development of the program. The more each parent or carer cares about the quality of their child’s education and experiences, the more successful the preschool will be.

At Joey's Pouch children experience a nurturing educational journey from baby to toddler to pre schooler.

Petit ELJ Murwillumbah has been welcoming families since 2015. We offer a play-based learning environment and our planning cycles are based on the children’s interests and developmental stages. We have strong partnerships with families which enables us to create a safe place of learning.

Petit ELJ Murwillumbah offers engaging and supportive indoor and outdoor environments for your child to foster a lifelong love of learning. Our Centre has play areas allowing for exploration and fun all year round. Our environments support learning that is child-led. We encourage our children to make choices around resources and activities that interest them and spark curiosity.

Our qualified educators are passionate about children’s learning and development of lifelong skills.
