Warren, NSW
Warren is a small town in NSW servicing the local sheep and cotton farming communities in the region. It is famous for the Tiger Bay Wetlands which draw many birdwatchers, as well as the unique National Heritage listed Macquarie Marshes. The waters create a 200,000 hectare wetland home to mobs of kangaroos and emus and an estimated 80,000 breeding pairs of colonial waterbirds. Anglers in the region enjoy several great fishing spots all within 5 km of the town. Warren is home to the Commodity Broking Services, set up to help farmers suffering from drought, and the Warren Jockey Club, which holds four major race meetings each year. Visitors and locals can also spend time at Beemunnel, walking the 1.5km trail and exploring this significant Aboriginal cultural site.
For parents seeking childcare, Little Possums run a pre-school and early learning centre in the town; children can also be enrolled in the Warren Preschool and Kindergarten which will prepare them for the social interactions and learning concepts they will meet at school. Warren childcare centres employ enthusiastic and well qualified staff who are passionate about helping your child grow and learn though play, while building strong relationships with the children in their care.
