We have 2 outdoor (age appropriate) areas where we encourage the children to spend as much time as they like in. All our long daycare children are given nutritious meals created by our on-site chef. Our nutritious menus alternate weekly and change with the seasons. At Sunkids Robina, children find a place to play, learn and grow. The long daycare centre incorporates an emergent curriculum and play-based learning opportunities. Seven modern learning spaces designed to encourage quality interaction and engagement with learning resources cater for 116 children from 6 weeks through to school age. Services At Sunkids Robina, educators are committed to providing significant learning in all play opportunities throughout the centre. Children will be drawn to activities that spark curiosity and creativity in all the spaces they explore. Real life experiences and the childrens’ own interests align with key learning areas such as literacy, mathematics and science and are injected into children’s play time to allow learning to be exciting and memorable. Extra-curricular lessons include yoga and meditation, music, sports, art and Japanese lessons as well as exposure to incursions, shows, special events and celebrations. A Kindergarten programme is also offered. As a premium children care centre all children at Sunkids Robina are provided with daily meals, nappies and linen, sunscreen and hand sanitiser, and a hat, drink bottle and bag. Nutrition policy An on-site chef prepares healthy meals for the children daily concentrating on nutritious ingredients for morning and afternoon tea and lunch. Menus alternate weekly and can incorporate parental input. For babies starting on solids, a variety of food is provided, suitable for their stage of development. Mealtimes are eaten in an al fresco piazza in a relaxed, sociable environment. Grounds A large, shaded outdoor play area forms the centre piece of Robina Sunkids. Children love to explore and challenge themselves in the sand and water play zones, climbing equipment, a rock river bed, bike track, performance stage, and picturesque reading nooks situated in delightful, landscaped gardens. Communication Robina Sunkids ensures constant communication with each child’s primary carer, with daily recording, online tools and a progressive portfolio. Sunkids Stadium Village is the newest Sunkids Children Centre catering for Gold Coast parents. The purpose built centre offers long daycare and caters for 102 children from ages 6 weeks to school staring age with six fully serviced, beautifully crafted rooms designed for each age group. Located next to Cbus Super Stadium, Sunkids is convenient for all families within Robina, Mudgeeraba, Merrimac and Varsity Lakes. Services Sunkids Stadium has created dedicated places for children to engage with a variety of modern learning resources which are also designed to encourage quality interactions between children and educators. Included are daily meals, nappies and linen, sunscreen and hand sanitiser, and a hat, drink bottle and bag for each child. The centre offers extra-curricular yoga and meditation, music, sports and art programs and Japanese lessons, plus a Kindergarten programme. There is also a parent’s lounge and alfresco dining. The children enjoy incursions, visiting shows and invitations to special events and celebrations. Nutrition policy Healthy eating is prioritised at Sunkids Stadium Village in line with all Sunkids centres. An on-site chef prepares meals for the children daily, catering for all dietary requirements. Children are fed healthy, nutritious morning and afternoon tea and lunch, to keep them full of energy throughout the day. Menus are alternated on a weekly basis and are planned in advance to cater for parent’s input. Babies are provided varied and suitable solids for their stage of development. Mealtimes are times for relaxed socialising and are eaten in an outdoor piazza. Grounds Children at Sunkids enjoy a large nature inspired outdoor area with sand and water play zones, obstacle courses, a rock river-bed, interactive garden beds and inspiring reading nooks within carefully designed landscaped gardens. Communication Sunkids utilise online tools to ensure seamless communication with parents. The educators record individual learning for all children as well as keeping a portfolio of each child’s progress to share at home. The centre is committed to establishing and maintaining close working relationships with parents as the primary carers of the child.
