Goodstart Beaumaris is in a convenient location, a street away from the Beaumaris Primary school. Our educators are dedicated to creating an inclusive, supportive, and caring early learning environment. They are professionals and highly qualified with decades of experience in the space.

Grounds
We have big and spacious classrooms equipped with multiple play and sensory-based opportunities. They have big windows that offer a good view of our outdoor play area. Our classrooms cater to children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Each room is carefully decorated according to the Early Childhood and Development Framework. 

Outside, we have a spacious play area with various artificial and natural surfaces. Children can freely run around, get active, and interact with their new friends. It also has specific areas designed to stimulate the inner adventurer of a child and teach them about nature and the importance of sustainability. Our staff monitors the outdoor play area at all times to ensure children’s safety.
 
Nutritional Policy
Our centre has in-house cooks who prepare well-balanced meals for children. We also strive to expand their palate and teach them healthy eating habits early on. If your child has any intolerances or allergies, please let us know. Our staff will make the necessary accommodation to ensure their safety and that their nutritional and dietary needs are satisfied. 

Communication
Part of our goal is to build a positive relationship with parents. To achieve that, we ensure that our lines of communication are always open to them. They can email or call us if they have any questions or clarification about their child’s performance. We also send out regular newsletters detailing upcoming events at the centre. Our educators also document children’s progress and send regular reports to parents for them to check their child’s progress, milestones, and achievements.

The Cheltenham campus is located at 1324 Nepean Highway, Cheltenham. This single level early learning centre opened August 2019 where we have our own curriculum directly linked to the Early Years Learning Framework that allows our educators to have input into the children’s learning and development.

We focus on learning through play and allow room for intentional teaching lead by our fully qualified educators and teachers. We offer incursions, excursions, extracurricular activities, a three year old kinder program and a four year old kinder program at no extra cost to your family.

At our Cheltenham campus we supply all meals, nappies, sunscreen, sun hats and bedding. On a daily basis we have set routines with flexibility based on the children’s needs and wants. Our commercial kitchen run by our fully qualified chef provides a nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch, progressive morning tea, afternoon tea and a late night snack. Cheltenham campus has a spacious dining room with a huge built in servery and fish tank for your children. This campus has an interactive fruit and vegetable garden that the chef and children have access to organic produce for their meals and to further their learning.

The Cheltenham campus is of the highest quality and consists of beautiful bathrooms, nappy change facilities, a separate sleep (cot) room, a mindfulness room and six modern purpose built age appropriate classrooms. Each classroom caters for specific age groups that are no more than a one year span.

Supervision and safety is so important when it comes to your child and to assist with this we go above the legislative standards and staff above ratio plus we ensure all our staff are first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma trained. Our goal is to provide the community with a five star service that meets all families needs and wants, a service where the children’s needs always come first and where the children feel at home with loving supporting positive educators teaching them on a daily basis.
