At Koo Wee Rup Preschool, we run 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten programs. Our programs are stimulating and inspirational, fostering curiosity, creativity and a love of learning. We believe that children should be encouraged to express themselves creatively in a variety of ways, including open ended and natural materials.

Koo Wee Rup Preschool strives to provide an inviting, supportive and rich learning environment for every child and family.


Here at Westernport Childcare we strive to provide a high quality of care and educational programs. We offer funded kindergarten programs at our centre along with opportunities for the children to participate in music and movement programs, perceptual motor programs, environmental awareness and several incursion throughout the year.

We participate in the National Quality Standards and are continually revising our practices to ensure we maintain current and accurate records, policies and procedures.

 Our educators have extensive experience in children's services and come from varying backgrounds. Our staff are very important to us and participate in professional development workshops throughout the year, which ensures that they are providing an up to date service to your family.

OSHC SQUAD is a family owned business dedicated to high the quality care of children. Our Staff are fully qualified and experienced in taking care of children. We have over 20 years experience of caring and providing fun and educational programs for children.

We have been working with school aged children within our centre based before school, after school and vacation care programs for many years. Over this time we have prided ourselves on making the program a fun one so that your children enjoy being with us, which means happy kids for you! We are very excited to be offering this program in a school environment.

Over the years we have been passionate about supporting our local communities and part of this has been to sponsor some of our local sports clubs such as the Koo Wee Rup Football Club, Koo Wee Rup Cricket Club, Caldermeade Junior Football Club and the Lang Lang Football Club. We are looking forward to providing a place where all the children of the local area’s schools can spend time together as one.

Koo Wee Rup Primary School is a Professional Learning Community where our passion and focus is always student learning. Our school motto of ‘Together We Learn’ is lived through the daily practice of our school community. Learning is ongoing and a lifelong experience for students, teachers, parents and the wider community. 
We are very fortunate to have such wonderful, spacious grounds and facilities here at Koo Wee Rup Primary School. Our grounds allow for students to play and socialise with their peers in a range of engaging activities and environments. Our main school buildings were completely rebuilt just over 6 years ago which allows us to provide our students with vibrant learning spaces.

We are all extremely proud of our history as a school and also of the positive engaging learning environment we have created today.
