We are located in a quiet leafy residential street in Ferny Hills. The playgrounds at Birralee are natural with grass, trees and sandpits in each play area, reminiscent of your own childhood experiences. We are committed to teaching the children about caring for our environment with the use of water tanks for watering vegetable gardens, worm farms and composting. The children at Birralee are encouraged to spend time outdoors and enjoy tactile experiences. The centre is fortunate to have long term staff members with very low staff turnover. We see children as individual and unique, and understand they come to our centre with their own perceptions and understandings of the world around them.  We accept and value diversity and aim to create an environment where all children feel a sense of belonging.  We aim to build strong partnerships with families, supporting them in their task of nurturing and educating young children. We believe the opportunities for children to play in an unhurried and relaxed environment is the best way for children to explore, learn and engage in meaningful experiences with adults and peers.
