125 Children Places
Maximum children licenced for the centre.
Chatterbox Child Development and Care Centre Paddington is an early learning centre located in Paddington, Queensland. The facility offers long daycare services in a centre-based setting for a maximum of 125 children.
At Chatterbox, we aim to create a safe, welcoming, friendly environment where children are free to explore their unique interests. We honour the individual skills, needs, and pursuits of each child, helping them grow into curious and resilient young adults.
We take a boutique approach to everything we do at our boutique, family-owned centre.
Services
Our services include music and Spanish language classes to challenge children and prepare them culturally, emotionally, and creatively for the world around them. Sensory play is a core component of our curriculum, helping children develop a clearer connection with their environment and social groups.
Inside each classroom, our Educators guide children on a grand learning adventure. We encourage respect, diversity, social exploration, and individuality.
Nutrition
At Chatterbox, we offer a seasonal menu as approved by the Queensland Food Foundation. Our extensive menu includes local fruit and vegetables prepared on-site daily. In our children’s café, children can witness the preparation of their meals and get to know our on-site chef.
We gladly cater to all dietary requirements, including gluten-free, allergy, coeliac, vegetarian, and dairy-free needs.
Upon enrolment, we ask parents to complete an ‘Infant Routine’ form, outlining the feeding routine of your child. We will use this schedule to ensure your child receives breast milk/formula and solid foods at the correct times and in the appropriate quantities.
Grounds
Through our thoughtfully designed outdoor play spaces, children discover the world around them. Children at Chatterbox develop essential motor skills and respect for the environment by investigating sand, mud, dirt, and other natural materials.
Communication
Our Educators maintain a consistent dialogue with parents year-round. By keeping in touch with families, we ensure each child’s routine stays in line with their development.
To record each child’s progress, we take photos, provide written observations, and prepare family input sheets and work samples.
Families are welcome to view their child’s portfolio at any time, and we deeply appreciate all feedback and suggestions.
