The facility caters for a maximum of 125 children. At Giraffe Early Learning Centre, we believe in fostering a lifelong love of activity and positive wellbeing in every child. With plenty of space for outdoor activities, an in-house menu, and a family-like atmosphere, we aim to provide every child with the absolute best chance for a long, happy, healthy life. Services Based on the Early Years Learning Framework, we offer a range of programs and activities for the children in our care, including: - A School Readiness program for 3-5-year-olds - Sensory play activities - Creative experiences - Role-play and imaginary play - Puzzles and cognitive games - Construction and manipulative equipment Through creative play, children will develop skills in imagination, problem-solving, concentration, self-esteem, and aesthetic awareness. Our creative activities include collage-making, painting, dancing, singing, drawing, and block-building. Through sensory play, children will ignite all five senses—touch, smell, taste, vision, and hearing. Children at Giraffe will experience a range of sensory materials, including play dough, water, sand, and clay. Nutrition Our trained cook prepares fresh meals on-site each day. Each meal is created from scratch, based on a rotating menu that caters to all cultural and dietary needs. We also serve breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea each day. To keep each child energised and active, we offer fresh fruit throughout the day. We encourage every child to try new foods and discover exciting flavours. Grounds Our grounds include a large playground area for children to ignite their senses, explore their imagination, and spend time having fun with friends. Communication Communication with families is essential for the development of each child. We have an open-door policy where we invite parents and caregivers to call in at any time to visit their child. We also openly accept all feedback, suggestions, and advice from parents. Where possible, we encourage families to meet with our educators to discuss their child’s learning outcome, unique interests, and special plans.
