40 Children Places

Maximum children licenced for the centre.

Little Troopers, located in Lakemba, New South Wales, is a centre-based early learning facility catering for a maximum of 40 children. At Little Troopers, we believe every child is unique, and we tailor our education to suit. As educators, we’re determined to help each child reach their maximum potential, supporting experimentation, play-based learning, and investigation. Services We provide a broad range of educational services at our centre, including: ● Long daycare ● Outside school hours care - after school ● Outside school hours care - before school ● Outside school hours care - vacation care Whatever your childcare needs are—whether you’re a working parent or simply follow a busy schedule—we’re here to help. Our programs include our engaging School Readiness Program, where we prepare children for the transition to school. Children will develop their fine motor skills, confidence, social skills, independence, and a strong foundation in reading, writing, and mathematics. We also offer several other stimulating programs, such as: ● Numeracy and Literacy Program ● Prelit Program ● Bluebell Music We have specially designed these programs to wholly engage each child, recognising their unique skills, interests, and needs. Our educational philosophy is based on the Early Years Learning Framework, which emphasises the importance of being, belonging, and becoming. Nutrition We offer a weekly rotating menu, featuring breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late afternoon snack. Our on-site cook carefully prepares each meal, taking the unique nutritional needs of each child into account. Grounds Our centre features three separate outdoor play areas, each designed to inspire safe exploration, growth, and learning. Children will enjoy a range of physical activities to support their gross motor development. Through the lush, leafy parklands surrounding our centre, we engage in local walking activities and exciting excursions to keep the children’s minds and bodies active. Communication We believe in the invaluable guidance families can contribute to their child’s educational journey. We stay in touch with parents and caregivers through our online portal, which families can access via a unique username and password. Via this portal, families can stay up to date with their child’s daily activities, read and reflect on our observations, and connect with our educators.
