Trendi Tots Kindergarten is an early learning centre offering centre-based, long daycare in Merrylands, New South Wales. We currently have space for a maximum of 29 children at one time. As of November 2020, our centre has achieved an overall rating of ‘Exceeding NQS’ in the Australian Government’s National Quality Standards rankings. This means we have met or exceeded all aspects laid out by the government in terms of our childcare and educational practices. Services At Trendi Tots, our goal is to prepare children for the next stage of their education through encouraging: ● Healthy social relationships ● Motor ability development ● Cognitive and problem-solving skills ● Self-confidence We take a contemporary, holistic approach to education, tailoring our curriculum to meet every child’s unique needs. We recognise each child's special interests and talents, providing them with the tools they need to harness these unique skills. By exposing children to flexible learning experiences in different environments, children develop a deep relationship with and understanding of the world around them. By working closely with families, we build strong foundations for life-long learning in each child. The Trendi Tots atmosphere reflects a home away from home, where children feel safe, nurtured, and understood. Our curriculum includes: ● Language and literacy ● Cognitive learning ● Creative learning ● Social and emotional learning ● Physical learning ● Extracurricular programs Nutrition Each day, our on-site chef prepares fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals for the children to enjoy. We follow the New South Wales Health Guidelines, ensuring every child meets their nutritional needs. By introducing children to both familiar and different foods, we aim to expand their eating experiences and help them develop a well-rounded diet. Grounds At Trendi Tots, we understand active children are happy children. We encourage outdoor exploration and activity each day, helping children build physical skills and positive wellbeing. Our Munch and Move program combines healthy eating and regular activity to help children develop fundamental physical skills. Across our vibrant playscapes, which include open spaces and a large playground, children will develop a lifelong love of movement. Communication Regular communication with parents and caregivers is crucial for every child’s development. We keep in touch with families via our website, email, and our online portal.
