Welcome to the Ainslie School community, a place of learning where our purpose is to prepare students for later life. Our core values are Respect, Excellence and Community. Our preschools are staffed by qualified Early Childhood professionals. The preschool curriculum is guided by Being, Belonging and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Endorsed by the Council of Australia Governments in July 2009 the EYLF is Australia’s first framework for children from birth to five years. The vision of EYLF is for all children to experience engaging play-based learning to build success for life. Children attending our preschools are guided to play creatively in richly stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments. Through implementing the five EYLF learning outcomes children are encouraged and supported to develop a strong sense of identity, connections with the world, a strong sense of wellbeing, confidence and involvement in learning and effective communication skills. Accompanying documentation is used to make children’s learning visible and to track and share children’s progress.
