Little Stars Preschool is a long day care centre in Toongabbie, in Western Sydney. A preschool team that prides itself on providing its pupils with an interesting and encouraging programme each and every day. With a progressive and holistic approach to early childhood education at the centre of our community, parents choose Little Star Preschool to provide their child with a programme where each day they can build their confidence and challenge themselves, while doing so in a safe and supportive environment. Our Curriculum Little Stars Preschool is where so many of our pupils will have their first interaction with childhood education. They’ll do so in a supportive community that grows their confidence and understanding. We recognise children learn at different paces, and have different interests. Our programme is designed to bring out the best in each child, and is tailored to their unique needs. We’ve pleased to provide a diverse range of general activities across our curriculum. From dinosaur discovery to dental education, chicken hatching to reptile shows, and more! Our curriculum is also reflective of our diverse community and desire to grow each child’s understanding and interaction with different cultures and experiences. As well as multicultural food days, annual Christmas concerts and Father’s Day and Mother’s Day events, we observe Aboriginal reconciliation week, and feature a performance of African drums throughout the year. Our Facilities We’re delighted to have three different rooms at our facilities. The Koala room for pupils from 3 months to 2 years old, the Platypus room for those from 2 years to 3.5 years old, and the Wombats room for pupils from 3.5-6 years old. We’ve also a large sandpit with the wooden outline, and an elevated step surrounding that provides an area for children to practice their climbing skills while entering the sandpit.
