Dallas Early Learning Centre is a centre-based facility located in Dallas, Victoria. The centre offers long daycare services for a maximum of 73 children at one time, aged from newborn to six years.
At Dallas Early Learning Centre, we aim to create a diverse, inclusive learning culture where all children feel free to express and explore their unique identities. We have operated privately since 2000, supporting local families and playing a vital role in our community.
Services
Our educators believe in the competency and potential of every child. We recognise their natural desire to learn and find meaning in the world around them. Through both structured and free imaginative play, we help children develop their unique skills and interests, in their own time and in their own way.
We base our educational philosophy on the Australian Government’s Early Years Learning Framework, which reflects the three core values of ‘Belongings, Being and Becoming’. Based on this framework, it is our goal to inspire in every child:
● A keen sense of identity
● Meaningful connections with the outside world
● Positive wellbeing
● Confidence and involvement in learning
● Excellent communication skills
We encourage the development of these goals by building positive relationships with every child, modelling appropriate behaviour, and crafting a welcoming, warm, and understanding environment for every child.
Grounds
Our inviting outdoor environments inspire children to discover, explore, and ignite their curiosities in a safe, secure, and comfortable setting. We have designed our outdoor spaces to meet each child’s specific needs.
In our Science and Nature Bay, children learn about the world around them. Through first-hand experiences with exploration and investigation, children develop cognitive, creative, sensory, and spatial skills.
In our Sand and Water Play Bay, children explore the elements in group and individual settings. They will also develop math and science skills while calming their bodies and minds.
Communication
At Dallas, we foster meaningful relationships with families and our community. Through our online communication program, parents can access daily progress records and essential information about their child’s learning, including:
● Learning outcomes
● Photos and videos
● Educator reflections
● Artwork
● Conversation scripts
● And more
