104 Children Places

Maximum children licenced for the centre.

Ingham Early Learning Centre, located in Ingham, Queensland, is a centre-based facility offering long daycare services for a maximum of 104 children at a time. As of March 2017, the centre meets all areas of the Australian Government’s National Quality Standards. Along with long daycare, we also offer outside school hours care – after school, vacation care, and preschool/kindergarten – stand-alone services. At Ingham, we believe in creating flexible learning experiences. We encourage children to guide their own learning, expressing their unique interests, talents, and needs. Services We have five rooms at our centre, each designed to cater to specific age groups. These rooms are: - Tiny Tots, for children aged from 6 weeks to 15 months - Early Childhood, for children aged from 15 months to 2 years - Pre-Kindy, for children aged from 3 to 4 years - Kindergarten, for children aged from 4 to 6 years - School Age Care, for children aged from prep to 12 years Each room offers a suitable educator to child ratio to ensure every child receives the care and attention they need. At Ingham, we’re dedicated to supporting the whole child in an active, nurturing, and safe environment. We create developmentally appropriate learning experiences to prepare children for their journey through life. Based on the National Early Years Learning Framework, we have created a self-guided curriculum to foster crucial life skills every child—including self-esteem, confidence, curiosity, independence, imagination, respect, emotional regulation, and more. Grounds Children at Ingham enjoy participating in stimulating activities, including dynamic play and lateral exploration. These vital activities encourage individual development, along with social and group engagement. Children will also build motor skills by interacting with their environment in different ways. By exploring our wide-open, unstructured play spaces, playground, sandpit, and garden, children will enjoy a varied experience of the world around them. Communication We respect the input and diversity of all families. In every aspect of our teaching, we listen and seek to understand parents’ and caregivers’ unique perspectives, communicating openly and productively. We encourage families to get in touch with our centre at any time to offer feedback and suggestions or to ask questions about our educational philosophy.
