Maryborough Central Early Learning Centre is open to children aged from 15 months old until school age. It also provides outside school hours care to older children. Services Maryborough Central Early Learning Centre has been operating for more than 10 years and is run by a team of dedicated early childhood educators. We provide children with play-based curriculum that has been designed based on an emergent style of learning – which takes into account children’s interests and ideas, and tailors the education to suit. You child will learn about literacy, maths and science, among many other educational and life lessons, throughout their journey with us. We give children ownership of this learning and we allow them to make choices regarding their experiences. The end goal is to encourage confident and enthusiastic learning. We offer a Kindergarten program that has been approved by the Queensland Government and this is delivered by qualified teachers. It helps prepare your child for school, and at the same time ensures they are able to use their social skills to the best of their ability. We aim to create confidence in your child, and a love of learning that stretches throughout their lives. Nutritional Policy At Maryborough Central Early Learning Centre, we promote healthy and nutritious eating. Children are required to bring their own lunch and snacks to the centre each day, keeping in mind to please be mindful of allergies. With many cultures within the centre, children are exposed a range of foods, which is a great learning tool. Grounds Maryborough Central Early Learning Centre provides indoor and outdoor learning environments that offer children an exciting place of inspiration. We want to ignite curiosity, nurture relationships and foster their learning, with environments changed every day so children have something new to explore. We have reading hubs in each room which is a comfortable space where children can develop a love of reading. Our outdoor space includes plenty of shade covering climbing equipment, bike track and sand play. Communication At Maryborough Central Early Learning Centre, we update your child’s learning and development via an app. This allows you to keep track of what they are doing at the centre, their journey over time, and any milestones.
