Little Sunshine Early Learning is located at 2 Hedge End Road in Nunawading, Victoria. Our centre is a proud provider of centre-based early childhood education and care. We cater to children between the ages of six months and four years.
Services
At Little Sunshine Early Learning, we are committed to providing a fun and engaging learning environment in which young children are encouraged to grow and explore. We recognise the importance of quality early education in preparing children for success, and we tailor our programs individually to ensure that each child gets the most out of our education offerings.
The talented educators at our centre work to foster a love of learning and to help children develop independence and interpersonal skills. We promote positive social development, critical thinking and problem-solving, and self-expression and creativity. We provide children with opportunities to engage in purposeful learning activities and to explore new skills and challenges every day.
Our early education programs support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. We invite children to play an active role in their learning, contributing interests and ideas. Our centre also offers a range of specialist programs and additional learning experiences such as incursions. These help to provide children with new opportunities to learn and grow in our care.
Nutrition policy
At Little Sunshine Early Learning, we know the importance of good nutrition. We encourage children to develop healthy eating habits that align with the requirements set by the Australian Dietary Guidelines.
Grounds
Our early learning centre has plenty of open space for children to explore. We also have a playground and a range of high-quality educational tools and resources.
Communication
Our educators believe that families are an integral part of children’s learning. We encourage parents and families to play an active role in our education programs. Parents are welcome to start discussions with educators at pick-up and drop-off times.
We document each child’s learning on an app-based system, where we create individualised learning portfolios and observe, record, and capture details of each day’s learning activities. Families can view educator stories and share information of their own.
