Kiddy Palace Learning Centre is a family owned and operated centre that seeks to be a ‘home away from home’ for all children who attend. Located in the northern suburb of Epping 20 kilometers from Melbourne’s CBD, the Centre offers a warm and welcoming environment that enables children to grow their capabilities and confidence from one day to the next. Our Ethos To our staff the delivery of quality early learning experiences to young Melburnians is not just about one approach, but multiple steps taken each day to provide an enjoyable and unforgettable educational experience. For example, we maintain smaller numbers in our rooms than many other providers, so as to ensure each child can get a premium level of care and attention for our staff. In turn, we believe that play is the most important and effective way to build a lifelong love of learning in children, and we encourage their own sense of agency and development of personal interests that instill and enhance that love. This done in tandem to activities undertaken in collaboration with other children, so as to further develop social skills and the capacity to identify and relate to the experiences and aims of others. Our Menu We understand the importance of a nutritious diet in maintaining a happy and healthy life. We believe it is important the foundation of this approach is established as soon as possible in a young child’s life. That’s why as well as a menu that is both varied and nutritious, we’re also proud to grow our own produce in our garden that is utilised in meals at the Centre. We feel this is a great way of showing children not only the value of healthy eating, but how healthy foods are grown and can be used in a wonderful range of tasty meals. Our Approach to Communication Quality communication is important to achieving the best outcomes for all children at the Centre. Our approach to ongoing dialogue with parents is one that welcomes their input and feedback. As well as the opportunity always being there to get in touch via our website or in-person to have a chat, parents are also welcome to connect with us on our social media platforms, Instagram and Facebook.
