At Little Beginnings Bangalay, we support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through the delivery of excellent curriculum programs. We help children learn to navigate new challenges as they explore the world around them and engage with a range of learning activities and academic concepts. We value each child as an important part of our centre community, and we embrace children’s individuality, encouraging children to share their skills and interests with their peers and educators. 

At our centre, we provide children with plenty of opportunities to explore and grow. We support children as they learn to solve problems, think critically, and engage effectively with others. Through a combination of play-based learning and educator-led activities, we encourage children to discover new things every day. 

Our centre is staffed by a team of highly qualified and enthusiastic educators. Our educators are committed to delivering excellent education programs and to preparing children for school and beyond. Our staff are proud to be valued members of our warm and inclusive centre community. 

Nutrition policy

At Little Beginnings Bangalay, we know the importance of good nutrition. Our onsite cook prepares fresh nutritious meals and snacks each day. Our menus are designed to align with the requirements set by the Australian Dietary Guidelines. Our efforts to provide healthy menus have been recognised by local organisations. Our menus are able to be customised to accommodate allergies and special dietary requirements. 

Grounds

Our centre has plenty of open space, where children can play and explore the great outdoors. We have a playground, sandpit, cubbyhouse, and garden, and we also have excellent indoor learning environments.  

Communication

At Little Beginnings Bangalay, we value the important role of families in children’s learning journeys. We keep track of children’s activities and progress using an app-based program, where families are able to view updates of centre events, children’s development, and educator analyses. Parents are always welcome to speak with educators at drop-off and pick-up times.
