
Located in Bidwill, New South Wales, Yawarra Community Childcare Centre is an early learning centre providing centre-based long daycare for local children. The service currently maintains 30 approved places at one time.

As of August 2017, Yawarra Community Childcare Centre meets or exceeds all quality areas of the government’s National Quality Standards (NQS), achieving an overall rating of ‘Exceeding NQS’. This score reflects our centre’s drive to provide the best possible experience for enrolled children and their families.

Services

At Yawarra Community Childcare Centre, we offer high-quality daycare and preschool programs for children aged two to six years. We recognise that families want the best for their children, so it’s our priority to provide them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in school and life.

Every child is an individual. That’s why we tailor our educational programs to suit the unique interests and talents of each child enrolled at our service.

Following the Australian Government’s Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), we focus on the three values of Being, Belonging, and Becoming. The EYLF ensures children become confident, secure, and involved individuals with a strong connection to their peers and community.

Our daily activities work to achieve these goals by building critical foundational skills in each child. These skills include emotional and social wellbeing, social responsibility, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, independence, and many more.

Grounds

We have designed our outdoor spaces to reflect the natural, organic beauty of the Australian landscape. Our sensory garden opens up opportunities for children to explore their senses, build motor skills, and gain a deeper respect for the world around them.
We also offer bush tucker experiences to teach children about Australian culture and our rich natural environment.
