Kiddie Academy Alexandria is an early learning centre located in Alexandria, New South Wales. Centre-based, long daycare services are available for a maximum of 71 children at one time.

As of April 2016, Kiddie Academy Alexandrina exceeds or meets all seven quality areas measured in the National Quality Standards. We work hard to maintain and improve upon these high standards year upon year.

Our curriculum follows the teachings of Maria Montessori as well as the Australian Government’s Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Services

Following the EYLF, we aim to achieve five learning outcomes involving our educators, community, and the children in our care. These outcomes are:

   ●  Developing a healthy wellbeing
   ●  Becoming active, confident, and involved in learning
   ●  Communicating effectively

The Montessori Method drives us to achieve each of these outcomes. By recognising children as valuable and capable individuals, we can provide tailored support to help them reach their full potential.

To help children develop a strong identity and connect with their world, we build interdependence, resilience, and autonomy. We inspire children to interact with their peers with empathy and respect, helping them form lifelong social skills.

We inspire positive wellbeing and confidence by working on experimentation, research, and problem-solving skills. Gradually, children will learn to adapt these skills to different contexts, preparing them for school and future life.

Nutrition

The Kids Gourmet Foods Catering Company provides balanced and delicious meals for the children each day. All supplied meals contain high-quality, wholesome, and fresh ingredients to fuel healthy bodies and minds.

Grounds

Along with healthy eating, physical activity helps children learn and grow.

Our centre features purpose-built outdoor areas, within which children can explore, relax, play games, chat with friends and educators, and learn more about the natural world.
