60 Children Places

Maximum children licenced for the centre.

Daystars Bardwell Valley is an early learning centre located in Bardwell Valley, New South Wales. We provide quality, centre-based education and care for a maximum of 60 children at one time. Our long daycare services are available for children aged from six weeks to five years, divided into three age groups. Daystars is privately owned and managed by a team of expert early childhood educators. Services We offer several exciting and stimulating programs at our centre, based upon the Australian Government’s Early Years Learning Framework. Each day, we observe every child’s development and holistically update our plans to suit any developmental changes. Our three learning groups are: ● Discoverers (six weeks to two years) ● Explorers (two to three years) ● Inventors (three to five years) Our ‘Discoverers’ room features a separate area for sleeping along with an enclosed, secure space for bottle feeding and washing up. Our ‘Explorers’ room has split-level, accessible stairs with an attached slide. We also have shared nappy change and toilet areas along with a fantastic ‘Home Corner’ to help children learn vital life skills. In our ‘Inventors’ room, children develop initiative and confidence by exploring our varied learning spaces. These spaces include a reading corner, puzzle area, and a space for building with blocks. Nutrition We understand that healthy food leads to better learning. As such, we have a “no junk food” policy at our centre. We are also a “nut-free zone” to keep children with food allergies and intolerances safe. Our on-site chef prepares varied meals following our delicious menus across a rotating, six-week cycle. These menus include fresh fruit, morning tea, and healthy steamed vegetables. Grounds Our enormous outdoor playground sits beside native bushland, helping children feel as one with the beautiful world around them. Children can explore, discover, and connect with nature from the safety of our gated, secure yard. In our unstructured, open areas, children can invent games, exercise, and enjoy unique outdoor activities with their friends and educators. Communication Parents and caregivers can access our online portal at any time to view their child’s portfolio or access enrolments and waitlists. At any time, we invite families to ask questions or offer feedback about their child’s learning.
